I am posting backwards:)) I will get the hang of this, since most of you know I have been a huge slacker with Blogging! These images I captured, at Palma Ceia Country club, after the ceremony. It was a gorgeous day and everyone was so willing and eager to shoot all around. Of course, I took advantage of it. In fact, not only were they all eager, but they even had extra shots they wanted. As much as I wish I was the only one with creative ideas, the first shot you see is one in front of these shrubs, that one of the groomsmen suggested shooting. The first few shots they stood directly in front of the shrubs, 5 shrubs 5 people. Then I decided to pull them off the shrubs a bit. I like them both, what do you think? Do you prefer the first or the second shrub shot? The reception was awesome and everyone was having a blast, as you will see in one of the shots, which I love because it best describes the energy of the party!

I just finished editing Annette and Michael's wedding and we had such an incredible day! They were both up for whatever and so I took advantage of that! I started at Annette's house and let me just say, I could have shot there all day with the variety of inside and outside elements. The ceremony was in Ybor and we got to shoot for about 15 minutes before the ceremony. We decided to go down a few streets and here are a few of my favorite shots from those locations.

I have a wedding coming up that will be, at the Don Cesar, on St pete beach July 4th! It's going to be crazy on the beach and I can't wait to work with Mario and Polina again. I am their destination photographer, since they live in Canada. They picked St Petersburg Fl for their destination wedding and while visiting we were able to shoot their engagement session. Here are a few of my favorite images. As you can see we had so much fun and they are so wonderful together. I also shared these images with Amber, of Event Design, for her blog, which is actually why I am posting them since I already resized them and everything:) I am not only excited to work with the couple, but also Amber. She is one of the kindest and most sincere wedding planners I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I have lots to look forward to this 4th of July!

These are just a few shots from a very intimate wedding in St Petersburg. Rick and Ginger planned their small wedding in Rick's backyard. They invited the most important people in their lives and it was a quaint and elegant affair. They were so easy to work with and I just thoroughly enjoyed the day. I love being a part of the more intimate weddings because they seem to be more relaxed and I get to spend a little more time getting to know everyone. If I wasn't so eager to get home and download all the cards, I would have accepted their invitation to stay and hang out. Just want to thank, both Rick and Ginger, for letting me into their wonderful world!

Just wanted to share a few of my favorite images, from a Sanibel Island destination wedding, I shot last month. It was a beautiful Saturday in May and as I drove to the resort, I could not believe how lucky we were with the weather! As usual the weather report said one thing, rain, and the sky said another. It was a morning, beach wedding and the reception following was a brunch. Now the most challenging part was that we needed to shoot outside, in Florida, at high noon. Well I probably don't have to mention the lighting difficulties with that, not to mention the element of extreme heat. The heat is not a problem for me, but certainly for the couple it can be difficult. However, they were aware of the heat and the timing and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! We did get some cool stuff in the shade, which was really just the covered parking spaces under the condos and then, of course, needed to get some around the beach and resort. I think my favorite shot is one of the bride out in this patch of weeds:)) I asked her if she felt like walking through this weedy area, with who knows what kind of prickers and bugs around, and she agreed! I was somewhat kidding, never thinking she would actually do it, but when she hiked up her dress and started walking I was psyched! Here are a few of the pictures from the day that I really love. I want to thank them both for being so kind, willing, able, and caring.

I just finished editing Stephanie and Andrew's wedding, held at the Powel Crosley Estate. Firstly, it was absolutely difficult to pick my favorite shots to post! Stephanie and Andrew are not only incredibly kind and in love, they also are just beautiful! Both the wedding and reception were held at the Estate, with the ceremony taking place under some magnificent trees and the reception held on the lawn. When I first arrived, I was so thankful the sun was out and the temperature was perfectly comfortable. I knew they were planning for everything to be outside and I thought the breeze might pick up during the day and the evening could turn out to be windy and cold. I could not have been more wrong:)) Everything was just right and it was a magical night!

I was lucky enough to get to shoot this awesome destination wedding in St Thomas! It was sooooooooo much fun! Destination weddings are so intimate and Thomas and Jess were able to spend a lot of time with the people that mean the most to them. Other than the heat, it was a gorgeous day with a few clouds. I will never forget my experience in St Thomas and I will forever cherish the time I spent with Jess, Thomas and all their loved ones!

This was such a beautiful wedding! Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the Don CeSar Beach Resort. Botanica did an amazing job with the flowers and Monica Varner, of Elan Event Studios, thought of everything! The room simply was glowing and felt warm and inviting. I was so impressed with Monica and her entire staff. They were such a pleasure to work with! Everything ran perfectly and Laura and Jonathan were just beautiful together!

It is not so much the creative aspect, I feel is so rewarding, but the human aspect. I am allowed a view, into some of the most intimate and private moments, a person has in their lives.

The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the Ringling Museum, in Sarasota. What a beautiful venue! I have shot there numerous times, but it looked spectacular that day. There were so many unique elements to the wedding that Yvette and Nicole, of NK Productions, came up with. The ceremony was held at the Ca d'Zan Mansion, with an herbed aisle. Cocktail hour was held on the patio of the Ca d'Zan overlooking the Sarasota bay. Then trolleys took the guests up to the reception which was held in the courtyard of the Ringling Museum. As you can see the courtyard was a vision. Nicole did an outstanding job!!

McLean and Matt

I started the day at The Westin, Harbour Island, where McLean was getting ready with all of her lifelong friends. When I arrived, all the girls were dressed and ready and McLean was right on time, just getting the final touches of her makeup. Since I met McLean, I was so impressed by her kind and gentle manner. She was right on schedule that morning, looking breathtaking, and calm!

The day went as planned thanks to Zoe Gallina, the wedding coordinator. She is not only one of the most professional wedding coordinators, but she is also one of the most thoughtful people I have come across. She genuinely cares for each of her clients and McLean's Mother could not say enough wonderful things about her experience working with her. Her attention to detail was obvious in every element of the wedding.

After the wedding, the reception was held at the Palma Ceia Country Club, which is one of my favorite venues! The staff there is always superb. They go above and beyond, not only for their clients, but for the vendors as well. The place looked amazing! Zoe had arranged for the reception to be held in the main dining area of the country club, spilling out onto the patio and green. I believe it was the first time the country club was set up that way and it was gorgeous! Zoe even thought to put candles in all the windows around the cake table, creating a warm glow that was so inviting. There were tables set out on the green and buffet tables under the patio. It was better than anyone could have imaged and the weather was on our side. It was a night to remember and there was so much love in the room. Everyone was dancing and laughing and no one wanted it to end. It was a special day and I know McLean and Matt will enjoy their journey through life together. I feel so lucky to have been there to witness such a special day.

Kelly and Joe were married at the Ritz Carlton in Naples. It was so neat to witness Kelly and Joe's religious and spiritual journey. Their pastor delivered the most touching and intimate ceremony. They also had a very talented musician from their church perform a beautiful song, I believe he even wrote himself. Although the rain was disappointing for all, we were able to shoot in every outside location Kelly wanted. It was raining cats and dogs, but let up at just the right time to get some shots at the Ringling Museum and the Ritz Carlton Beach club. I look forward to seeing them begin their life journey.

Well it's blogging time and I am way overdue! Thank you all for checking in to see what I've been up to! I have been very busy and I am way behind on my blogging. There are a few things I am very gifted at and some other things I could definitely improve on. Blogging is something I am really trying to get better at!

These images are from Erin and David's wedding. Their wedding was held in St. Petersburg w and the reception on St. Pete Beach. We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather! This wedding was particularly nice because everyone was really calm and relaxed. Erin and David are both such incredibly kind people and their entire wedding party was extremely cooperative! Everyone just had a blast and David is quite the impressive dancer!! He some pretty awesome moves and definitely has a passion for it!

I also have to tell you, that when Erin and David danced together it was like the room stood still and, to them, nothing else mattered. They compliment each other so beautifully. I felt so privileged to be around them!

Hello all my friendly blogger viewers! Thank you for checking in to see what I've been up to! These images were taken at the Crosley Museum/Estate in Sarasota Florida. This has to be one of the best shoots ever because the couple were so considerate of the timing. Ramie, the bride, told me that photography was one of her biggest priorities and she wanted to make sure we scheduled everything with plenty of time to get any pictures. We talked about the day and came up with a schedule that would give us plenty of time to get all the shots, from the standard posed to the creative adventurous ones. The lighting was perfect, the sunset was gorgeous and mostly Ramie and Paul were some of the most incredibly nice people I have ever had the privilege to work with. Their love for each other was absolutely beautiful to be around. It was the kind of love I can only hope and pray I have one day. I just can't say enough about how two beautiful big hearts found each other in this world and it never seizes to amaze me. I know they will have a lifetime together and I could not feel more honored to have been a part of it!

Thank you for checking out my blog! I have had a very busy November, lots of work and tons of fun! Here are a few images from my first November wedding. It was at the Ringling Museum at the Ca d'Zan Mansion. It was such a beautiful evening and was absolutely perfect for a wedding. I was fortunate enough to work with two of the most kind and gracious people, Ali and Jerry. They were so wonderful to work with. The only problem was that the church ceremony was really close to sunset and Ali and I both wanted to get to the Ca d'Zan Mansion for sunset. We literally had 20 minutes to get from the church to the mansion to grab a few sunset pictures and some family shots at the mansion. I can't believe we made it!!! God was on on side that day because, not only did we get there in time for a few sunset pictures, but we were also able to get ALL the family shots there as well. I was pouring sweat and felt a little pressure, but it all worked out and I was so relieved. The rest of the evening was just perfect and we really could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or more perfect weather.

I would like to mention to anyone reading this, that the most important thing to consider is that if you select a gorgeous venue for your wedding, make sure to schedule enough time to actually capture it!! I try to convey this to all my couples at the first meeting. Timing is everything! Ali understood this and knew that if she was not going to see the groom beforehand that we would have to limit the church shots to catch the sunset and she was an absolute pro. She was awesome about getting out of the church quickly so that we could make it to the mansion before sunset. I wish I could host many more shots, but here are a few.

Heather and Pete have such a special love for each other. It is so obvious they find peace and joy together. Here are just a few images from the wedding, but I wish I could post so many more. The reception was a blast and I loved how much dancing Heather and Pete did. They were just a blast to work with and I had so much fun with the entire bridal party. The best part of this day, was that we had so many hours to shoot after the ceremony because there was a huge gap of time between the ceremony and reception. I shoot at the Waterside Marriott and I have never had enough time to take the bridal party up on the bridge. Well, we got some of my favorite shots on the bridge and even a really fun one of all the girls throwing their flowers in the canal.

Well, due to a wonderful meeting I had with Diane, I am updating my blog. One of the best parts of my job is meeting new people from all walks of life. I have recently had two meetings with future brides, that I just completely enjoyed. Whether I am fortunate enough to do their weddings I know we both walked away better for having known each other.

So anyway, Diane was mentioning that she liked going on to my blog and needless to say, I am a little behind! So these first images are of a very intimate beach wedding that was just absolutely beautiful. One of the cutest moments was when Katie was walking down the beach and Pete was taking a picture of her with his phone:))) It wasn't so much he doubted my abilities, but he was just so happy he wanted to capture her face as well.

I shot this wedding at the Don CeSar in St. Pete beach. It turned out to be a beautiful day and this is one of the page spreads from their album. I love designing albums and lately I have been really trying to allow each image to tell it's own story without distraction. I now encourage couples to select less images so that each image has it's own space. I just love this image!
